I think one of the best compliments I can share about the food was that my polish wife stated that the borscht reminded her of her childhood and the Hungarian goulash I ordered was very similar to a dish her mom used to make. In my words, the dishes we had were wonderful and authentic and I loved the flavors of the sauces and the potato dumplings were the perfect texture. It reminded me of the home cooked and restaurant meals I've had in Poland. Service was excellent and very attentive. I look forward to coming back to try the Bigos.

Was my very first time eating at this place and I was firstly greater with a smile and welcome. And please take a seat anywhere. And asked off that bat would I like a beverage. I shared a bootle off bubble non alcoholic wine with my Mom and Sister. And it was recommended by the waiter. And the meal was a party in my mouth so many flavors and spices. The craftsmanship that went into it was unbelievable. I was amazed by my first bite. It felt like a Polish Ukrainian Slavic Restrant. I felt welcomed. As being part Ukrainian. I felt like home. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere I would highly recommend this place.

It was our first time at Izba Bistro and we loved it! Our server Brenda was great! She was nice, attentive but also let us sit for awhile. Food was excellent. We started with the battered brie that came with fruit and a spicy berry compote. I then had the spinach and feta chicken and it was SO good. I loved that it came with spaghetti squash as well. You don't see that too often. My partner had the Vienna schnitzel with an egg on top. My partner being Austrian said it was different than what he's used to, but still enjoyed it. Lastly we had the sacher Austrian chocolate cake and that was also really fantastic! We definitely will be coming back soon!

We were staying at the Poco Inn for several days and we decided to try Izba. We had gone once last year for breakfast and wanted to try other things on the menu this time. Food is absolutely amazing here. Service was excellent. We dined in and did take out a few times. We can't wait to come back to dine in when we visit BC again. The Pork Hock was amazing and I had to order it twice.

A hidden gem in Poco. The pork hock was even better than that from the Christmas market. It was juicy inside with very crispy skin. Tried their espresso martini based on server recommendation and loved it.

I have been twice to Izba during the past few weeks and were very happy with the quality of food on both occasions. Actually the deep fried calamari was one of the best ever, very tender and a very generous portion. Pork knuckle was outstanding with an incredible crunchy skin and succulent meat, I was a bit hesitant about the Currywurst (as normally it should be served with French fries) but their potato pancakes to go with are simply awesome and the Wurst itself was top notch. Top it all off with a German lager on tap and you have a wonderful polish / German meal in the mist of Port Coquitlam. Service was attentive, professional & natural - no stupid questions regarding what my plans for the rest of day would be. Great value for money - definitely recommended
